Atlantic Connection is far from a new name in the music industry. First sinking his teeth in the record business as a part of drum and bass outfit Basic Operations, the DJ and producer has amassed an extensively well-respected catalogue internationally and has established himself as a key figurehead in the bass music scene. Since his initial debut, Atlantic Connection’s growing list of originals, remixes, and bootlegs are as eclectic as they are many. His latest productions under his Jamie Prado and PRODBYAC monikers are an intriguing blend of house, soulful R&B, bright sliding chords, tropical melodies, and nearly every genre in electronic music’s full spectrum. Always adding his signature wash of expertly pitched sonics as the finishing touch, the ending result always creates a warm, luscious atmospherics to his sound – a sound he calls “Future Soul.” Either hard at work in his studio or working behind the decks making bodies groove, Atlantic Connection’s music has seeped its way on the radio and TV. His track “Hypem” was the theme song for MTV's “The Show With Vinny” and “You & Me” and “Tides” have seen heavy rotation on SiriusXM’s Chill station, further expanding Atlantic Connection’s global musical footprint.
