Atlas

Atlas is a rock band from North Vancouver, formed in December of 2021. The band is comprised of four Capilano University Jazz students. They met during their freshman year at music school and connected through their mutual love for rock &#39;n roll. The band has been active in the Vancouver music scene, performing at various clubs and venues. During the summer of 2022, the band made their radio debut on Merritt&#39;s Q101.5FM radio and Calgary’s 101.1FM “TODAY RADIO” stations, to promote their debut single, &#34;&#64;<a href="spotify:album:3xYuSHjEe3tGl8Bog3cw6U" data-name="Queen Sized Lover">Queen Sized Lover</a>&#34; which released on July 21st, 2022. Atlas has also been featured on the local Vancouver radio show, “Unsigned BC”.

The band consists of:
Lead vocalist and pianist, Austin Leitch from Calgary, Alberta.
Guitarist, Steve Atlas from Merritt, BC.
Bassist, Calvin Dumont from Chilliwack, BC
Drummer, Jackson Hutton from Tel Aviv, Isreal.
Atlas often features, Nick Sinclaire on Alto Saxophone from Calgary, Alberta.

The band has been busy writing and recording over the past year for their debut EP titled, “<a href="spotify:album:2McWqNR42AsiSlJr6KOZg2" data-name="Dusk &#39;Til Dawn">Dusk &#39;Til Dawn</a>” which released on June 30th, 2023. It was recorded at 12th St. Sound in New Westminster and mastered at Railtown Mastering in Vancouver.
