ATLAS is a 5-piece metal band from Tampere, Finland. The bands 'Northcore' sound is a mix of heavy hitting riffs paired with immersive soundscapes that draw inspiration from the crushing gloom of the north. This epic live band has released a chart killing debut album, toured across Europe with Monuments, Miss May I, Eskimo Callboy, Wolfheart, VOLA, One Morning Left and We Butter the Bread with Butter, visited several festivals across Europe and released several praised singles via German label Long Branch Records/SPV Entertainment.
Second full length album 'UKKO' saw it’s dark light on December 2021. The album received dozens 10/10 reviews and was picked as best metal albums of the year 2021 by dozens medias across the globe. UKKO -album has 11 brand new songs and is the new path of ATLAS on their voyage of combining traditional elements with new one. "UKKO is our way of honoring the northern spirits and a true sacrifice for the old Finnish pagan gods."
