Atole is a Mexican hot beverage made from corn, which can be enjoyed in Latin America in many different flavors on any corner. The Freiburger band Atole Loco has just made this colorful variety their program: Atole Loco means danceable cumbia, fiery ska and energetic latin rhythms. Their live shows celebrate movement, playfulness and guarantee to bring their crowds to shake!
At the beginning of 2019 the first album of the band was released: "Radio Caravana", inspired by Ska and Cumbia sounds from Latin America. In 2024 followed their EP "Más Allá", which contains a fusion of high energy latin grooves, vibrant melodies and punchy brass lines.
