Atomatons

There was no shortage of strange things happening during the era of Cold War nearly 60 years ago. However, this plot might have been the most sinister of them all. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, a group of three men and a woman was sent to the boondocks in Finland, near the Soviet border. Their code name was ATOMATONS and they had a simple mission: to destroy the enemy with ear-shattering arsenal of twanging guitars, pounding drums, thumping bass and blood-curling vocals. The weapon they were given was primitive rock and roll from the future.

Needless to say, the plan went horribly wrong. None of ATOMATONS were equipped to survive the brutal conditions of Finnish winter and, being left completely alone, they were in trouble. During the dead of winter ATOMATONS were deep-frozen.

Eventually the group was forgotten even by the powers behind them but that was not the end of their story. Due to global warming, the secret mission was unveiled in the 2000’s. ATOMATONS were discovered under the melting ice and, to everybody’s surprise, they were determined to continue their mission.

REPOWOMAN, EL TORO, ARMAS T and ZIP MARTINI are now back among us and they are meaner than ever. This time ATOMATONS are set to conquer the whole world. −KGB, file ALR-001 (classified top secret)
