Atomic Project

Music project embodied by its creator and sole member Evgeny Lapaev.
Inspired by the break-dance culture, and by the music of <a href="spotify:artist:5ABXE3bvPqzR2qUVPiDdW2" data-name="Music Instructor">Music Instructor</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1Oi59eHWhHIuwnVaFd3M60" data-name="Flying Steps">Flying Steps</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1Y1gFAW4ZoGBAgMlQG98XJ" data-name="Freestyle Project">Freestyle Project</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0NeC6ploeJUq8oDwYQjNPS" data-name="Bomfunk MC&#39;s">Bomfunk MC&#39;s</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0IE7Q1kfOq6d03WbY2GnBm" data-name="B-Boy Tronik">B-Boy Tronik</a>, Evgeny began to create Electro &amp; Freestyle music since 2005.

Evgeny&#39;s first tracks were published in 2007 on www.freestyle-music.ru (Russian popular musical site of the time, dedicated to freestyle music). And following the release of an eponymous track, the project acquired a name — <a href="spotify:artist:1CfLhcOFwRrbO5Ocr9STxQ" data-name="Atomic Project">Atomic Project</a> (From 2011 to 2014 the project was also called <a href="spotify:artist:34Ygf56jH2Y69FCdtK9amk" data-name="Atomic 2K">Atomic 2K</a>).

Since 2007, dozens of tracks have been created. Some were released on E-Freakz and Sound Factory labels.
The most popular tracks in 2016 were <a href="spotify:track:5SER5K18pWlobY9DXbHUcR" data-name="Breakdance Epidemy">Breakdance Epidemy</a> and <a href="spotify:track:3giK3EjtXF3i06yV0vfRiM" data-name="Freestyle Music">Freestyle Music</a>, and scored over a million views on YouTube.

In 2017, Evgeny, together with colleagues from Russia and Israel, founded the <a href="spotify:artist:2l7IXe0WCWsCbjnMTN81ig" data-name="Freestyle Forces">Freestyle Forces</a> music team, that released several explosive Electro Freestyle singles. (Currently, Freestyle Forces has also become known as an independent label, for releasing the music of the team members)

Since 2021, Evgeny has returned to creating and releasing new tracks by <a href="spotify:artist:1CfLhcOFwRrbO5Ocr9STxQ" data-name="Atomic Project">Atomic Project</a>, and the project has begun a new stage to return listeners&#39; interest in old-school music. Also, since 2021, Atomic Project has been participating in the yearly official music compilation dedicated to the world breakdance championship - &#34;Battle of the Year - The Soundtrack&#34;, released by Dominance Records (Germany).
