Atte Nordberg

Combining his late 60’s pop and soul influences in a theatrical take on indie rock, singer-songwriter Atte Nordberg is a promising new firestarter from the Finnish underground.

Similarly to eccentric artists such as Rufus Wainwright, McCartney, Bowie and Sufjan Stevens, Atte values the significance and novelty of every song as its own entity. He expresses it through contrastful ideas, unusual themes and a groovy abundance of melodic elements.

Fueled by his passion for the art of showmanship, he injects live performances with delicate interpretation, as well as frantic frontman maneuvers. Known to enjoy keeping the audience on their feet with a constant element of surprise, he’s been well received in various circles of Helsinki’s music scene.

Being the lead singer in powerhouse indie/garage rock band The Halophones, industrial art rock collective Faceted Poetems and some cult groups from the late 2010’s, Nordberg has shown versatility as an artist, composer, lyricist, entertainer and a singer.
