audiolaw are coming from the foot of Mechernich’s Lead Mountain in the very west of Germany where mining companies used to wrest the heavy metal from the underground - and left moon-like landscapes. Now the band with approximately 200 years of music-history in their hearts is mining for lead-heavy or featherlight songs – sometimes all in one. In those they’re sharing: stories of life in own and other bodies. Of the eternal curiosity on things yet unknown. And the yearning for company and peace amongst friends and families that shall always bring them back to the foot of Lead Mountain.
audiolaw kommen vom Fuße des Mechernicher Bleibergs, wo einst Bergbau das Schwermetall der Erde entriss – und dabei mondlandschaftsähnliche Flächen hinterließ.
Nun fördert die Band dort mit gemeinsam etwa zweihundert Jahre Musikgeschichte im Herzen bleischwere oder federleichte Songs zutage – manchmal auch beides zugleich.
Und teilt darin: Geschichten vom Leben im eigenen und in anderen Körpern. Von Reisen durch Zeit und Raum. Von der ewigen Neugier auf Unbekanntes. Und der Sehnsucht nach Geselligkeit und Frieden im Kreis von Freunden und Familien, die sie stets zurückbringt an den Fuß des Bleibergs.
