Through her original music, Audra Sergel tells stories of life, love, and the beauty of the human spirit. A Mid-Missouri-based singer-songwriter and pianist, Audra draws from personal experiences to create vocal jazz melodies that are shaded with influences of the blues, pop, and early musical theater.

With a career spanning nearly 3 decades, Audra Sergel has headlined national festivals with her band, The Audra Sergel Band, as well as toured regionally, and been seen and heard on stages throughout the United States. Her favorite collaborations are with The Upsides, Rochara Knight and the Honey Doves, and the Joel Anderson Jazz ensemble.

An active educator, clinician, composer, and adjudicator, Audra currently teaches privately in her studio of 25 years and serves as faculty at Stephens College Conservatory of the Performing Arts .She has musically directed over 45 productions with Stephens College, Stephens' Okoboji Summer Theater, TRYPS Children's Theater, Talking Horse Productions and the University of Missouri. She holds a Masters Degree in Vocal Music Education from Central Methodist University. 

She is the co-founder of Cabaret for a Cause, the founder of the Quorus: Columbia's LGBTQA-Z Community Choir, and the music director at Broadway Christian Church. She was a founding member of the Big Muddy Opera Company and a founding member of Compass Music Center. She resides in Columbia, Missouri with her partner, Alicia, and their two sweet dogs, Anna and Dakota.
