Hey :) I’m Audrey Gillispie, a 22 year old independent artist from Orange County and broke out into the music scene with my 2020 single “Fall For You Again” containing deeply relatable lyrics describing a relationship in which the guy I was seeing left and I still wanted him back despite his lack of feelings. I would consider myself someone who is honest and raw with my emotions and I definitely allow that to shine through to my writing. My first EP, “What If I Told You I Loved You” (2021), was a unique perspective of breakups, spontaneous love affairs, and wanting love online during covid-19. The project was well received and embraced a variety of different stories and sounds for every listener. Since then, I’ve continued to put out singles such as “Jewels” (2021), “Franklin Drive” (2022) and recently re-released a fan favorite “Close To You” (2023). I write compelling lyrics by describing many emotions towards the various personal feelings, betrayals, and tribulations I myself and others may experience in the late teens and early 20s of life. I am constantly evolving as an artist and with my release of my single ”Doing a Front Flip and Hoping I Will Land” (2023), I’m turning a new leaf and embracing change which can be heard on the final track of my EP (Catharsis) called “Photosynthesis”. I just released my latest single “I’m Everywhere but in Your Arms”. I am always performing so check social media for upcoming dates :)!
