Audrey Jolin was born in Beauharnois on February 18, 1992.
She made her first steps on Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Shania Twain vibes.
At the age of 10, she began her singing lessons with Jocelyne Laberge music school in Châteauguay and started learning the guitar by herself at home.
At 12, Audrey began to stand out in small talent contest in her area in the shows of her high school and in competitions such as Quebec Ontario Youth in which she finished with second place. Then, it didn’t take time for Audrey to write her first own songs which gave her the privilege to deserve a special mention to Cégeps en Spectacles.
It was in February 2011 that Audrey finally decided to listen to her inner voice and to take the decision to abandon the program of Arts and Letters in which she was studying at the Collège de Valleyfield to focus more on her passion.
It was a great move because a few months later she met the producer Jay Lefebvre who greatly contributed to the beginnings of Simple Plan in which his brother, Sebastien, plays guitar.
This meeting gave birth to her first single “Give You” which quickly spawned her a place in the top 20 Adult Pop-Franco.
This is only the beginning for Audrey!
