Augustus

Formada em outubro de 2014, atualmente, a AUGUSTUS é composta por Ricardo Rilo (guitarra e voz), Dom Vander (guitarra), Devisson Vander (baixo) e Mark Mesquita (bateria).

Inspirado no universo do "poeta da morte", Augusto dos Anjos, o homem “por sobre quem caiu a praga da tristeza do mundo” é o protagonista desse trabalho, que arrebata pela combinação primorosa de riffs e melodias, com um lirismo melancólico, extremo e obscuro.

Desde então, a banda lançou o álbum Fel (2016), o EP Cipango (2017), o EP Deus-Verme (2021) e acaba de lançar o seu mais novo álbum "Escuridão e Rutilância", já disponível nas principais plataformas digitais.

Formed in October 2014, the AUGUSTUS is currently composed of Ricardo Rilo (guitar and vocals), Dom Vander (guitar), Devisson Vander (bass) and Mark Mesquita (drums).

Inspired by the universe of the "poet of death", Augusto dos Anjos, the man "upon whom the plague of sadness fell on the world" is the protagonist of this work, which captivates with its exquisite combination of riffs and melodies, with a melancholic, extreme and obscure lyricism.
