Originally started by Bay Area multi-instrumentalist Bret Hollingsworth of <a href="spotify:artist:7zSuK84B2D61DFzsOPQrev" data-name="The Ogre Packet Slammers">The Ogre Packet Slammers</a> in 2020, Aurora of Oblivion soon turned into an International Deathcore project with the addition of Iranian Bassist Emin "The Murderbass" Aghajanian.

In their lyrics, the band foreshadows events that can drastically affect the future of the human race Aurora of Oblivion’s music is all about the idea that there is more to life and consciousness than we think and that we as humanity need to change how we handle certain things before it's too late.
