Hi, I’m Austin.
For me, making music is about finding stability and a bit of humor in the midst of life’s uncertainties. My wife and I have been married for almost twenty years. We have two wonderful kids and live in Lubbock, TX (the home of Buddy Holly). It's a town with a great music scene, and it's a short drive from Palo Duro Canyon. When not making music, I work as a clinical psychologist helping others to experience healing and growth.
I’ve been a musician most of my life. I draw inspiration from artists like Randy Newman, Tom Waits, Van Morrison, and Cat Stevens. I have a great admiration for artistry and musicianship in all shapes and forms. My more direct musical influences tend to gravitate around the 1960s and 70s roots rock crowd.
