At the age of 10, austin payne started playing Jazz trombone. Inspired by the likes of Art Blakey, Curtis Fuller, and John Coltrane, payne began his musical journey from a unique place. After his older brother introduced him to dance music, payne’s interest began to flourish. At age 15, payne was introduced to Ableton Live by one of his bandmates. This forever changed his life. Growing up playing Pokémon games & hearing the 8 bit music, it was clear that payne’s musical potential would be filled with the futuristic and forward thinking soundscapes of dance music.


"My goal is to bridge the gap between electronic, r&b, dance, and pop. Growing up in a genre less world, I don't want to be constricted to boundaries. I want to be able to DJ a nightclub one night then play a live show the next night with my band."


22 year old austin payne tends to describe the music music he makes as atmospheric dance music. Rooted in Jazz and R&B, payne’s unique musical background combined with his futuristic mindset, creates an escape into a futuristic world filled with intimate relationships and nighttime adventures.
