Ausvin King is a Chinese-Filipino singer, songwriter and rapper from Manila, Philippines. He discovered his love for hip-hop back in 2018 when Ex Battalion, a Filipino phenomenal hip-hop group in the Philippines became mainstream. He followed that up by listening to western hip-hop artists such as Chris Brown, Drake, Kid Ink, Travis Scott, Tyga etc. to which they all became his influences in music.
Monster RX 93.1 took notice of his talents when Attraction got selected to be played on their Indieground segment which was played on air for several months.
He was also a Thomasian artist for University of Santo Tomas's Tiger Radio, in which he also appeared as a guest artist in one of their episodes.
Dream Girl got nominated in 4 music awards (Record of the Year, Best Pop Song, Most Underrated Song and Song of the Year) for Indie Musicians Music Award 2023. He not only performed as an artist for the awards show but also took home the award for the Most Underrated Song.
And he was once again nominated in Indie Musicians Music Award 2024 for Best Rap Song with Stay in Yo Lane! - Remix, along with being a performer again for the awards show.
His hottest track of 2024, Up 'N Down landed 32nd spot at New Music Friday Philippines during its release week.
