Autumnal Sorrow was started in 2016 by Niccolò Sacchi, a.k.a. Typhon.Almost a year later he started recording the project's first demo intitled "Into the Darkest Season", which was released on the 16 December 2017 and was entirely self-recorded and self-produced. The band's style is focused on old school black metal, particularly influenced by the Norwegian second wave, combined with ambient elements. At the moment, Typhon is working on a new record, a concept album called "Nostalgia".
