Avatar Omish

Omari James, known professionally as Avatar Omish, is a Dominican alternative rapper, singer, and songwriter best known for his fusion of emo rap, indie, rock and grunge music. Originally influenced by Christian rap, Omish found his passion for writing songs at the age of 14, writing numerous amateur rap songs and recording them on his phone until he later got a laptop and mic.
Although rapping was his bread and butter at the time, after a short while the young creative would then pivot into different styles of music, constantly trying out new genres on different songs in an attempt to explore his creative potential and make something that could be described as undeniably “beautiful”- a goal he’s since dedicated his journey to.
