Average Joey is a traveling songwriter and musician hailing from Pennsylvania. He now lives full time on the road on tour with his genre defying mix of cheeky country tunes, storytelling folk songs and punk banjo. With an emphasis on lyricism, his songs mix the vulnerability of personal reflection with the political commentary of speaking truth to power. Average Joey’s live show mixes musical performance, spoken word poetry, and acapella style group singing to engage the audience with variety of instrumentation and presentation.
