Averagekidluke

Averagekidluke (a.k.a. AKL) is a singer/rapper/songwriter whose catchy melodic style and relatable lyrics about love and relationships have earned him a growing, loyal fan base. AKL mixes hip-hop, pop and R&B influences with a wide range of other genres. His distinct voice, clever phrasing and melodic flow have awakened the curiosity of music lovers around the world - and he has come to be known for his explosive and energetic stage presence.

Since his debut in 2021, he has been working successfully with an array of artists and producers around the world, and has quickly become known for his relentless work ethic. Having different songwriting teams in Stockholm, Helsinki, Amsterdam and London has allowed AKL to naturally explore and blend different music styles to create his own flare on (double) platinum-streaming songs like "Ghetto Love", "Rich Man", "Rauhaa", "Vitun Hyvin" and latest single "Diva".

Signed by both Parlophone UK and Warner Finland, Averagekidluke now has more than 150 M streams, numerous song writing credits, four #1 hit singles, and six Finnish Grammy nominations (1 Emma in 2022, 5 Emmas in 2025) under his belt.

Due to the success of “Ghetto Love”, AKL decided to create a full-blown project in collaboration with the local rap scene and create more music in Finnish – for the culture, for the fans. This has resulted in the release of the double-platinum streaming debut album “Yuno”.
