Average Jo Productions began in 2012 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Originally producing EDM & Dubstep records, Average Jo began his venture in Christian Hip-Hop through a friend of his at Faith Studios in Chesapeake, Virginia. After years of learning and connecting with others in the industry (Christian & non-Christian) Average Jo landed his first placement on HOT.97 through artist Cliford Gray. "Mike Todd" would be Average Jo's first single to debut on the radio. The record was mentioned even in celebrity Pastor Mike Todd's Instagram story. Also, special collaborations and placements with A01's CEO and artist Saint James, Average Jo would land a placement on his debut album "Grace" which exploded over night with immense popularity through social media outlets and blogs. Average Jo is currently an independent producer.
