Avidd Minddset

Since 2008 Donte' Lewis (a.k.a. Avidd Minddset) has always had an interest and a passion of producing his own music and DJing. Between 2014-2018 he took college classes in Music Theory; and learned about Mixing, Mastering, Compression, and Limiting. Although most of the skills he learned were self-taught, Lewis used the knowledge that he learned from his classes to produce music on a more professional level; thus taking on the name Avidd Minddset in the process. Many of his biggest music inspirations came from artists like will.i.am, The Neptunes, DJ Snake, T.W.R.K. and Missy Elliott. As Avidd Minddset he specializes in electronic music genres like Deep House, Bass House, Tech House, Trap, Kawaii Bass, Drum and Bass, and 80's Electro. As a classic 90's gaming nerd (and anime fan) Lewis loves adding Chiptune to some of the beats and tracks that he produces; thus creating sounds like Chiptune Twerk, Chip-Trap, and other Chiptune subgenres. In November 2020 he started DJing and perfecting his craft through intermediate and advanced DJ courses he took online. When it comes to DJing and producing music, Avidd Minddset always has an 'avid mindset'!
