Avilente is Faheem Hasan’s electronic downtempo project. With a sonic palette that fuses subtle grooves with intricate melodies, the music of Avilente assists listeners on deep journeys into the mind and is inspired by the boundless beauty of nature.
Drawing inspiration from the sonic worlds of new age, ambient, IDM and techno, Avilente takes a fresh approach to the chill-out and downtempo genre while staying true to its roots.
The first Avilente album - “From Clear Spaces Within” was released on Microcosmos Records in 2013, followed up by a collaborative release “When The Clouds Disperse” in 2014.
Faheem has been writing, performing, and producing music for more than 15 years under a number of aliases and with various bands and projects. He is an accomplished Guitar and Piano player, and also dabbles in making music with the Flute, Bass, Vibraphone, and a variety of other instruments.
