Avish is an India-born, New Zealand-raised indie-pop singer-songwriter. He first made waves online with his renditions of Hindi film songs before beginning to actively pursue writing and composing his own music. His music has since been featured on Rolling Stone India and Spotify editorials, with his latest single 'Dhoop' becoming the first ever Hindi song to receive funding from NZ On Air — a New Zealand government-backed music grant. He is currently back in India writing a bunch of new music.
