AVIVX

AVIVX is a Tbilisi-based queer music producer and DJ. Hid original music production led him to be accepted to the legendary RedBull Music Academy Tokyo at only the age of 21, where he's music was described as distinctly unique, blurring the lines between East and West.


As a DJ, influenced by the raving Tbilisi club scene, his sound evolved into a vortex of playful queer techno euphoria. He believes the music should be all about fun, celebration and disinhibition, so you'll never get bored or depressed during his sets. Oscillating between an eclectic pallet of Chicago house, New Beat, Italo, trance, techno old and new, his sets always offer something surprising at every twist and turn. What remains constant is the touching, emotional melodies, grooves and vocals that immerse the dancers in highly memorable and rewarding musical experiences.


With performances at Berlin’s famous parties and venues like Wilde Renate, Buttons, Ficken3000, Cafe Luzia; Moscow’s Popoff Kitchen; Kazakhstan's ZVUK; Tbilisi’s Khidi, Drama Bar, Success among others, he is emerging as an active player in the international dance music scene.


His upcoming vinyl EP Dark Temple on Rotterdam's Electronic Emergencies label with Clone.nl worldwide distribution, is set out to become his biggest project to date. In the 4-track EP AVIVX explores his darker and harder musical side, taking dancers listeners to a cosmic ride permeated by oriental and sexual atmospheres.
