Outside of Sweden, the word ‘avresa’ may not be so commonly known. In English it translates to departure for the beginning of a journey. Sydney based songwriter, guitarist and pianist Jeremy felt it was a fitting name for his solo musical project which aspired to move in an unexpected musical direction after writing and playing in a 4-piece rock band for years.
