British singer/songwriter Avril Amber brings her debut single, Whiplash, after several years of playing as a session musician in various musical projects around the South West of England.
With musical influences from <a href="spotify:artist:3btzEQD6sugImIHPMRgkwV" data-name="Wolf Alice">Wolf Alice</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3pIGm1omCcHIb1juBNHspg" data-name="Cherry Glazerr">Cherry Glazerr</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4wXchxfTTggLtzkoUhO86Q" data-name="Soccer Mommy">Soccer Mommy</a>, Avril’s new venture into music can be best described as “moody indie”, with much of her songwriting focused on the plights of relationships, sexuality, ambition and mental health in her 20s.
Whiplash is out on the 7th September, mixed by Calum Wotherspoon and mastered by Tom Cory.
