Originating from melodic metalcore, the Swedish band <a href="spotify:artist:5N88tI6SVnC6hoFcPxfkz0" data-name="Awake Melissa">Awake Melissa</a> from Kalmar made their debut in 2018 with their EP <a href="spotify:album:09DcaMYjPQUEyHjbyjSNwc" data-name="Beware The Light">Beware The Light</a>. Containing six hard hitting songs.
In 2021 the band wanted to mix some Deathcore elements in the music, and so came <a href="spotify:album:5OWmD4pPq1TwHFlNVCCZVE" data-name="Mist">Mist</a> to life.
In 2023 the band gave their Metalcore sound a boost, with a hint of Rock n Roll they released their brand new track <a href="spotify:album:0ZoVnf3PQDecuD9eIZ0qIK" data-name="Livin' la Vida Loca">Livin' la Vida Loca</a>.
