Awi Rafael is a multiple award-winning music producer, artiste , songwriter & CEO (Newsantara Asia) from Singapore. Based in Kuala Lumpur for the past 12 years, Awi has released multiple prominent songs previously under Warner Music Malaysia’s music catalogue such as Pulanglah, Bila Aku Jatuh Cinta, Manusia Sempurna & Kalau Aku Kaya amongst many others.
Evolving as an independent artiste from 2020 onwards, Awi have since recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London with JR Richards from DISHWALLA, released various high-profile OST drama songs and now releasing new tunes with his revived band, BHUMIBAND.
Written, Composed, Performed All Instruments, Mixed & Released through his own record label, Newsantara Asia; Awi is taking his music ownership fully independent and in complete creative control. He is also passionate about producing new artistes & exploring various new music markets internationally.
