Awlyver is a rising artist-songwriter out of Vancouver, Canada. He delivers a unique style and flow to his diverse sound, his creative process and writing stems from real life experiences that he applies to his songs that then translates to the listeners naturally resonating with his lyrics and music.
From a young age Canadian-Somalian Awlyver was inspired by music and he naturally found his passion for it through artist such as Kanye West and Outkast seeing them through his TV he quickly fell in love with the art. Known to freestlye during his highschool lunchbreaks and having the sense of fashion from working at an iconic street wear store "Dipt" in his hometown his peers quickly supported him in pursing a career in music. In late 2019 prior to his debut single "Oh Man" Awlyver was based in London, UK where he was inspired by the music scene and driven to start releasing his catalogue. He was featured on an instagram freestlye with renowned actor Idris Elba who's also heard talking on the outro of Awlyver's second single "Semantics" with Atlanta Billboard Platinum producer DJ Suede the Remix God. In mid 2020 Awlver represented his roots of Somalia performing virtually at the MTV Africa Day Benefit Concert something that he's extremely honoured and proud to be a part of.
Awlyver released his debut EP " Damage Control" in August 2021 a project where he dives deep and emphasizes his mental health and personal experiences through the pandemic.
