Awunganyi Etiendem Nkemasong ( Born 12th July), Popularly known by his stage name Awu is a Cameroonian singer-songwriter. A native from the Southwest Region of Cameroon, Awu emerged in 2014 from his debut single " If a Can, Can".
 
His genre of music is Kossa-fusion, an expression of Makossa with elements of Afro beats and other genres.
 
His hit singles " If a Can Can, "Sidomina", "Sidomina Remix", "Yayayo" , "Dege Dege" etc has extended his influence from Cameroon to other parts of the world . Awu has just released his long awaited debut album “Sounds Of Heritage”. Kindly listen and share reviews
