Ax and the Hatchetmen came here to party. The six-piece indie rock band from Chicago, led by singer and guitarist Axel Ellis, have been headlining tours and releasing music since 2018. Rounding out the rest of the band are the Hatchetmen- made up of Salvatore Defilippis on guitar, Hunter Olshefke on bass, Nick Deputy on drums, Phil Pistone on trumpet and Quinn Dolan on saxophone. The group have released multiple singles and EPs since signing with Arista Records in 2023, including their latest collection, the “Constant Change” EP which features Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes on the single “Blurry Lights”.
