Damian Garibay aka Axøfriend is a Mexican DJ/Producer from Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Known for his futuristic/cyberpunk style, the iconic axolotl shaped helmet and an energetic mix of subgenres like Dubstep, Midtempo, DnB and other bass derivatives with dark/euphoric essence on his sets and own music.
His career began at the age of 16 when he discovered the world of electronic music production (already having a great taste for electronic music in general), and since then, he has developed multiple sound design and djing stuff skills through experimentation, support from friends, inspiration from artists and own experience.
Axøfriend has performed in events like “VIVA LA RAZA” by the mexican artist RVMDON, “Creative Nights” by Talent Land and Mexican Bass Gang Sessions, plus several online sets and dj contests via SoundCloud and YouTube.
One of his greatest goals is to position his country as a great exponent of the genre, being one of the most iconic artists of the scene.
