ay-Mill is the electronic music project of Swedish producer and songwriter Emil. Hailing from the vast, quiet landscapes of northern Sweden, Emil was originally a big fan of classic radio pop before diving into club culture. A pivotal encounter with German dance legend Scooter changed everything, sparking a lifelong passion for electronic dance music.

Driven to transform inspiration into craft, Emil spent countless hours shaping his sound in a bedroom studio before continuing his musical journey at Musikhögskolan in Piteå, where he expanded his skills in composition and production, while also DJing locally.

His music is centered around a strong melodic identity, combining pop-influenced songwriting with dance-pop energy and a wide spectrum of electronic styles. In the studio, Emil focuses on groove, detailed ear-candy, and subtle human elements, crafting tracks that feel both polished and alive.

Recognized by STIM on their prestigious +100! list as one of Sweden’s fastest-growing songwriters in 2026, Emil’s momentum is undeniable.
