Aybe Lexington is a musical supernova lighting up the music scene with her soulful voice and genre-bending sound. With deep roots in Gospel and R&B she was coined to have a "buttery and soulful voice reminiscent of early 90s style of R&B” by Earmilk. Aybe Lexington’s smooth and soulful voice can melt hearts, and her music transcends genres.

Aybe’s roots start in Randallstown, MD. Born to a family of musicians and singers, AyBe Lexington wrote her first song at 14 years old. Aybe started out with big basketball dreams, but after listening to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill she was inspired to start songwriting. Aybe wrote for both international and local Baltimore artists while completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems at UMBC. It wasn't until the summer of June 2016 when she decided to become a music artist and released several singles on SoundCloud.AyBe is a musical chameleon, effortlessly shifting between genres and creating music that is both fresh and familiar. Unapologetically herself, she weaves tales of love, loss and redemption, and her music is a reflection of her authentic spirit and strong faith in God. Aybe Lexington is on a mission to create timeless music that will inspire and uplift listeners for generations to come.
