Born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Kendall Austin aka AyoKendo was always involved in the performing arts in one way or another throughout his life. His mother always had him attending performing arts camps, taking him to auditions, and performing in plays. Kendo grew up singing in the choir at his home church. He too gives a lot of credit to his late grandmother for his upbringing. By her keeping him involved in so many different avenues of creativity, he was consistently bettering the advancement of his future. The arts have always been a passion of his and throughout the entirety of his life, individuals noticed something special in him and would state that the young artist would one day be on the big screen. During his senior year of college, he dropped his debut single “Live Your Life” in the summer of 2019. “Live your life” is a summer vibe full of high energy vocals, transcendent and vibrant sounds that immerse you in the song, along with some Afrobeat/Pop influences.
