From a young age, singer/songwriter B. Laurén has shown a passion for music. The daughter of 4-time GRAMMY® nominated producer Steve "Silk" Hurley, she has spent her life in the company of some of the industry's most noted entertainers.
B. Laurén initially honed her talents as a soloist in the church choir. At that time, an opportunity to perform alongside rap artist Common further inspired the then 11-year-old to pursue her musical aspirations.
Known for her melodic, powerhouse vocals, B. Laurén has shared the stage with renowned artists like Roy Ayers and Ann Nesby and worked with GRAMMY®-nominated producers, such as Carvin & Ivan, plus the late James "Big Jim" Wright.
Recently, she showcased her vocals in movies on the BET network: "A Miracle Before Christmas" and "Christmas Angel." She has also collaborated with Marshall Jefferson, Kaay Alexi, Superfunk and Starlovers, to name a few.
B. Laurén's single "Either Way" is now available on all platforms.
