Resilience and the desire to constantly evolve are two of the mainstays of the music business. For
Brooklyn based rapper B. Shadow, they are two words that mark the significance of his journey in
the game.
As a hungry teen artist, who originally aimed to run a record label, he began networking & building relationships with record label execs which lead to a job offer at Def Jam, and later a proposed management deal with Violator Management.
Failed deals amongst other things, led to a 10 year hiatus from the record industry as he attempted to find his own place in the world.
Returning from the wilderness, he then headed down another path as a concert promoter and self-styled artist agent.
Those ventures also met an untimely demise as B. Shadow came to understand that he could not
depend on other people to make his mark. The hunger, dedication and will to succeed did not burn
as bright in others as it does in B Shadow himself. Rhyming with the lyrical flow of a seasoned professional, his storytelling ability
is second to none as he paints a picture through words that is simply unbelievable.
Now repping his own label Inflame Records, he has already dropped a 5 track EP titled PAIN and is
about to release a follow up called HUNGER. With a full-length album also in the mix, B Shadow is
about to emerge from the ashes hungrier, more driven, ambitious and determined than he has ever
