Baby Mike

Baby Mike has had his feet in two worlds all his life. Born in Sweden to a Danish mother and an African American Black Panther activist, the introspective rapper lost his parents at an early age, forcing him to figure out life on his own.


Growing up in Sweden is not necessarily as tranquil as it sounds. Drugs, violence, gangs and segregation are all prevalent issues in the peacefully-perceived Kingdom. Enter hip hop. At an early age, Baby Mike found his true love for Hiphop spending a lot of his childhood years with his sister in New York City, he consumed himself with the music, style and culture that the streets of Harlem had to offer. While a more turmoiled path was in constant proximity. The open invitation to a more tempting lifestyle ultimately led him to dabble in a regrettable path as a teenager.


After the missing of his close friend and losing both his parents, Baby Mike had enough and suddenly moved to Spain with nothing but cash in his pocket. During that dark period of time Baby Mike recorded and released his debut album Buried alive which was released on September 28, 2018.


Part of what the media outlet Mass Appeal describes as “The Swedish Invasion”, Baby Mike broke out summer of 2017 with his debut single Wicked Games amassing half a million streams and peaking #1 on Spotify Sweden’s Viral Charts.


Baby Mike moved back to Harlem, NY to be closer to his sister and niece, he now resides in Spain again and is expected to release new music in 2021.
