After 10 years of writing, recording, and producing music, Candler English has found a pressing need to reinvent, regroup, and reimagine. Under the artist title Back Door Beatnic, he has found just that. With the release of his new single under the same name, English has jumped headlong into an electrically playful and punchy sound as a means to express a new creative vision. English’s work has often centered on spiritual themes and with this project, he continues to indulge, dissect, and relish in these themes. From the joys of starting a family, to shedding religious conformity, Back Door Beatnic presents a shock to the heart in an ever increasingly mono-chromatic artistic landscape. English lives in Burnsville, NC where he records and produces from his home studio.
