Backwardsrrip is a independent rapper, songwriter, and producer from Hinesville, Georgia. Growing up with majority of his friends in gangs, Rip used his music to keep himself from going the wrong direction. He started getting into music at the age of 12, battling and freestyling on his middle school grounds. It wasn’t until 10th grade when Rip starting taking music more serious. He created a local buzz in his city and High School by recording numerous of mixtapes and using social media. In 2009, Rip was featured on the Top 20 Unsigned Artist Myspace list in the state of Georgia. Despite being offered a few record deals during this time, Rip ultimately decided to enlist in the Army. He has been featured on the Gud Tymez Morning Show and Video City Tv; which have hosted major artist in the game today. In 2017, Rip signed a Distribution deal with Bentley Records. Rip’s major musical influence is his older sister Monica along with other artist that paved the way for him.
