The Houston born, Eastern Oregon raised rapper Backwood Frankie has been wasting no time breaking out onto the Pacific Northwest rap scene. Having started rapping in 2020 after being influenced by his friends to do so, he’s already dropped a debut single and shows no signs of slowing down. 2021’s single “Heard About It” is an unapologetic track with heavy west coast rap influence, so fans of YG, Mozzy, and Joe Moses will have no issue adding the single to their current playlists.
