Bad Baron

Bad Baron took the Finnish metal scene by surprise in 2021 with their debut single ‘Sweet Talker,’ immediately catching the attention of DJs at national FM station Radio Rock, and setting the stage for a rocket-fueled rise that took their unique sound well beyond the confines of their chilly home country. In demand by promoters across Finland, the band has played venues graced by some of the biggest names in Nordic metal, and is already appearing on summer festival lineups.

As if spectacular live shows weren’t enough, Bad Baron’s more than 40,000 YouTube views and over 45,000 Spotify plays speak for themselves. No less than five of their songs have been placed in official Spotify playlists, including recent single ‘Going Down In Flames’ in the revered New Music Friday Suomi playlist, acting as a resounding proof of concept for the heavier, rhythmic sound the group continues to develop in 2023.

Streaming may be king, but Bad Baron don't shy away from traditional formats either. Their 2022 debut album ‘Ace Of Hearts’ was released to rave reviews on legendary German rock label Pride & Joy, with CD copies appearing in record stores across the world, and a significant level of radio play on European specialist stations.

Bad Baron have no plans to rest on their laurels, spending the first quarter of 2023 reforging the best parts of their previous releases into a harder and faster, but still unflinchingly positive sound that promises to defy all expectations.
