“From the Ashes of OXYMORON…”
Back in 1997 the legendary street punks OXYMORON released their second album, entitled “The Pack is Back”. This title is now a fitting announcement of a comeback that many have been waiting for. As they will be the first to say, OXYMORON can never really die…!!!
The year 2002 seemed to mark the final demise of the “OXY´s”. And this after they had produced a work in the form of the “Feed the Breed” album that had critics and fans alike screaming “best album ever“, with the band clearly at
their very pinnacle.
However, OXYMORON founder, singer and mastermind, Sucker, wasn´t about to take it lying down – in other words,
he continued writing songs. It’s in his blood, you know…
Eventually he recruited Andy – a friend from MAD SIN – as drummer, and with the involvement of a number of other
mates they recorded a new album called “Sucker Stories” – each of the 14 tracks bearing Sucker´s typical signature and, of course, his remarkable voice.
When the call for live shows rang out, a motley crowd from various bands of the Berlin punk scene gathered, and finally
the BAD CO. PROJECT was born…
This five-piece gang is rocking the stages now since 2007, in the meantime with new guitarist Sala (from the basque country), and consequently continues where OXYMORON left off – still carrying on the spirit of finest streetpunk, genuine and ass-kicking!
