Bad Witch

Bad Witch is a multi-instrumental artist heavily inspired by acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:0X380XXQSNBYuleKzav5UO" data-name="Nine Inch Nails">Nine Inch Nails</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:01WjpKiWVNurV5hjIadB8C" data-name="Filter">Filter</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2VYQTNDsvvKN9wmU5W7xpj" data-name="Marilyn Manson">Marilyn Manson</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:05fG473iIaoy82BF1aGhL8" data-name="Slipknot">Slipknot</a>, and many others. As a solo artist, his biggest focuses in his music is telling stories.

Debuting in 2021, <a href="spotify:album:0uWIjlUQz3Py9Cyz1CqxCc" data-name="Hyperstar Zero">Hyperstar Zero</a> tells the story of a character lost in his own self-pity and misery. Impacted heavily by the pandemic, the ending of several personal relationships, and a lifetime of wanting to make music but never feeling good enough, the record is a look into the mind of a 19-year old trying to find a place in his mind that he can feel safe.

Following in 2022, <a href="spotify:album:0BF4Dw2jec0lRomHbYxcVx" data-name="Leave Your Dead Behind">Leave Your Dead Behind</a> loosely continues the story of the same character. Throughout the story of the album, he learns to let go of the past and the memories that held him back for so long. In many ways it’s a part two to <a href="spotify:album:0uWIjlUQz3Py9Cyz1CqxCc" data-name="Hyperstar Zero">Hyperstar Zero</a>, with the writing starting immediately after the completion of the previous album. This record marks the end of an era for Bad Witch, leaving behind (at least temporarily) the reclusive and diary-entry style stories for ones with more bite.

Bad Witch’s newest project will debut late in 2024. For the first time he’s found enough stability in his life to take a step back out of his own head and truly observe the world around him, and this record details the emotions and thoughts that step back gave him.
