badfocus

<a href="spotify:artist:5ec0e3hAOAh9jeqUCvoRAh" data-name="badfocus">badfocus</a> (Prokop Korb) is a Prague-based music producer, sound designer, and multimedia composer. He has performed at festivals including SXSW (USA), M for Montreal (CA), Sziget (HU), Exit (RS), Athens Music Week (GR), Tallinn Music Week (EE), Metronome, Spectaculare, and Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week. Together with Spitfire Company, he has performed at Festival d’Avignon (FR), Kenya International Theatre Festival (KE), and within the Czech Pavilion at EXPO OSAKA (JP).

Since launch of the project in 2020 he has released <a href="spotify:album:2wyr6rCZr9PZaulMQbSax9" data-name="ep1">ep1</a>, his debut <a href="spotify:album:24X2KQ9bzJw13G6j3ct0SO" data-name="wallflower">wallflower</a>, the ambient EPs <a href="spotify:album:5JifN5iq8s8RAaMma4Ueuf" data-name="emerged, vol. I">emerged, vol. I</a> and <a href="spotify:album:0QQdfdlFytl4zZjmBInUEb" data-name="emerged, vol. II">emerged, vol. II</a> , the soundtrack for Laterna magika’s debut dance film at the National Theatre, <a href="spotify:album:3MaEZopYtISXlKX8XLdqJd" data-name="new normal (original motion picture soundtrack)">new normal (original motion picture soundtrack)</a>, his second album <a href="spotify:album:73ygQN6AuiXrgem5AgjR8F" data-name="meditating while raving">meditating while raving</a> on the Supraphon label, and a number of remixes for other artists.

Beyond his own work, he has produced music for numerous artists (<a href="spotify:artist:29VjAXbeZqPa8PSNxF8Q5W" data-name="Tea Sofia">Tea Sofia</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3BdlFgtWLRUFhdhPV95GqH" data-name="Amelie Siba">Amelie Siba</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7qDwporWq9dPHjhV87Mb6W" data-name="Karolina Beranova">Karolina Beranova</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3d2UbIriAVdbFm5hq1VCAy" data-name="Klara Wodehn">Klara Wodehn</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7AU7w8KxSNBVBv515zNHnP" data-name="Anki">Anki</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4uU11t5hm7AkOVgiO2IbgA" data-name="teepee">teepee</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6N5KYN7EYZXt1pRktzUGbU" data-name="ATM BENNY">ATM BENNY</a>), co-produced music for several films and TV series in collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:2Vg2jNCvRDst0EdLLcc3Br" data-name="Jan P. Muchow">Jan P. Muchow</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0v7ChG3yNvhV8SVU35kVhz" data-name="Jiří Burian">Jiří Burian</a> and, together with <a href="spotify:artist:2A4cJbWj5ukS0nj06L84E8" data-name="Oliver Torr">Oliver Torr</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:62BLOut8Dm47yIXaLUTzBi" data-name="DJ GÄP">DJ GÄP</a> created the soundtrack for the documentary <a href="spotify:album:34ppuhLCP31zPwsWmmBpKF" data-name="I&#39;m Not Everything I Want to Be">I&#39;m Not Everything I Want to Be</a>, which won Czech Lion Awards for Best Documentary and Best Editing. Since its release in 2024, the film has been celebrated at international film festivals and was recently pre-nominated to represent the Czech Republic at the Oscars.
