Key figure in the Belgian hip-hop scene, Badi continues his journey with the album "Moyi". After an exceptional collaboration with producer Boddhi Satva on the previous "Trouble Fête", the Brussels artist has carved out a place in the sun. Featured in two COLORS sessions (SHOW & ENCORE) and invited to the Trans Musicales 2021, Badi has performed in France, Switzerland and Scandinavia to carry his Afrofurist and committed anthems high. Appearing like a bubble of air in a world suffocated by health constraints, his repertoire has given him unprecedented visibility.
Closer to his Congolese origins, he now puts "Moyi" on the cover of his new album. In Lingala, this word means "sun" or "daylight". This radiance certainly marks a turning point in his career. Always on the move, never where you expect him to be, the man from Brussels has teamed up this time with Jillionaire, a former member of the Major Lazer adventure. Carried by the sounds of the Trinidadian producer, Badi lets himself go to shimmering and swaying rhythms. More than ever, he sings and puts himself in danger. Voice forward, values assumed, sharpened verb, the artist opens the borders of his universe, opening to new horizons, as virtuous as they are vast.
