Badri is an upcoming producer and artist based in Liverpool, who enjoys working within a wide range of pop genres. He creates music that is rich and compelling, painting pictures with layers of meaning. Badri’s music speaks of things that move him in deeply personal ways; and manages to retain the raw expression that characterises indie music, whilst still flaunting the elegant sheen of modern pop production. Born in the tropical city of Chennai on the south-eastern coast of India, he grew up listening to a vast variety of both traditional and western music. Badri believes that this exposure to music without labels plays a crucial role in allowing him to weave music seamlessly with nuance and intention when collaborating with singers of different styles.
