BA$EDonnie

A member of his collective hip hop “Team BA$E'' Brooklyn native Donnie Russell otherwise known as BA$EDONNIE, 27, considers himself to be an artist who can transcend genres. Growing up at a young age Donnie was exposed to multi-genre artists such as Eminem,  50 cent, 2 Pac, Snoop Dogg, and Jadakiss. These vast influences have created a hip hop/rap/R&B phenomenon rising in the underground scene, opening up for Jay Critch appearances at Hot 97 and Amateur Night at the Apollo.


 His EP “Established in O6” ft. fellow BA$E member Mr. Wiseguy is an unprecedented multi-genre project, meant to target people of all different musical tastes. Songs like “Go Crazy” and “I'm the Man”  create an authentic, engaging experience which introduces an acoustic hip hop/rap rhythm inviting all audiences. Meanwhile tracks like “11:14” uncover floating lyrical bars from minute one. There's something different about him. 


BA$EDonnie stands out by creating a sound that is unique through its breadth and unpredictable flow versatility. Donnie attributes his hometown in Canarsie, Brooklyn as a major influence to his multilayered sound.


BA$EDonnie is an artist who prides himself in always being authentic to his truest self. Those personalities will translate in his art- notably in his forthcoming 12 track project “YOGI” coming out December 2020
