Baffo d'Oro plays garage-post-punk with influences from various indie sounds.
Baffo d'Oro's music is rooted in the sounds of legendary bands from the late 70s and early 80s punk, post-punk and garage. With references to current acts in these genres, Baffo d'Oro blends the past and the present, giving their sound a contemporary freshness. The result is a sound of raw guitars, driving bass and intense drums, which meet a critical and humorous, sometimes ironic, view of society and the absurdities of life in the vocals and lyrics.
Since their first release in 2022, the Swiss based band has been steadily making themselves heard - whether with radio airplay on public broadcasting stations or on indie radio stations, as well as through underground concerts .
The new EP (out in April 25) is another milestone for the band - not just musically, but also another step towards getting to play more and more live.
